DIVINITY (CHAPLAINCY)
The Master of Divinity in Theology & Ministry with a concentration in Chaplain Ministry will prepare you for full-time chaplain ministry and for ordination or ministry licensure. This concentration will provide you with the broad-based biblical, theological, and pastoral training you need in any kind of chaplaincy vocation. With this degree you will also earn 1 unit (100 hrs.) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) under the accreditation of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) at an approved location of your choice as a necessary step to fulfill ACPE/ACP requirements to become a Board Certified Chaplain.
Master of Arts in Divinity - Minimum 78 CREDITS
Concentration in Chaplaincy
Prerequisite: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies.
A minimum of 5 years life/work experience in church/ministry leadership may be considered in lieu of BA Degree upon
Program Director's approval.

Course Description: Biblical, theological, and philosophical foundations of chaplaincy. Emphasis includes the Constitutional foundations and functional areas (community, education, health care, military, etc.), institutional functions (providing, facilitating, advising, etc.), and roles (priest, prophet, ethical advisor, counselor, staff member) of a chaplain.

CLINICAL PASTORAL EDUCATION
Course Description: Students train at a site approved by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education(ACPE) and earn 1 unit of CPE. An Antioch instructor oversees the training, providing intake, debrief sessions, and spiritual formation for the CPE students. Must be accepted by training site to register for course.
